An Update From Maggie Fuller
July 11, 2007
I'm living in Valley City in Medina County and just taking it easy and seeing what it is actually like to sleep in
until 6 or 7 am. It's nice! I'm looking for another radio (or broadcasting) job casually. Hopefully by fall I will
be working.
I'm having a ball with the WNIR listeners/emailer. You guys are a hoot and making the passing days very worthwhile.
Thanks.
Love,
Maggie

at the intersection of Wyoga Lake and Steels Corners Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
Once everyone has filled up on the tasty wings, head over to the Funny Stop Comedy Club at 1757 State Road in Cuyahoga Falls

Place Your Charitable Bid For The
WNIR Morning Show's Gingerbread House
Bidding opened on Sunday morning in the Akron Beacon Journal's sponsored Ginger Bread House auction to benefit local charities.
The WNIR Morning Show was one of six organizations including the Soap Box Derby, Akron Aeros, Don Drumm Studios, Myers School of Art, and Artist P.R. Miller who were
chosen to participate
Funds raised by the WNIR entry will benefit the Portage County Animal Protective League
According to the Sunday's Beacon Journal article, the WNIR entry is named Nightmare on Gingerbread Street.
"At WNIR, the morning crew -- well, mostly just Maggie Fuller and her 17-year-old daughter, Jackie -- concocted a nightmarish theme complete with blood (made from melted Red Hots)
and gummy worms. 'What is the biggest fear of a gingerbread man?' Fuller asked, grinning. 'It's going into the oven and getting burned.' So, in the rear of the house, which is
supposed to represent a giant oven, are gingerbread men who look a bit overdone."
As of 11:30 AM Sunday morning, the WNIR Gingerbread House was the leading bid generator, with a high bid of $125.00
To monitor the bidding, visit this webpage. To place your bid, be sure to read the rules here first.
Condolences To Several Friends of Ours

On Tuesday Patricia Denning, mother of John "Couch Burner" Denning and Ralph Iula, father of the Soap Box Derby's Jeff Iula both passed away.
Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of each of these fine individuals.

Happy Anniversary Stan

Those are 3 words that generally put fear into Stan.
No, it's not Stan's anniversary but two of WNIR's advertisers have invited Stan to be a big part of their anniversary
celebrations.
First comes the 5th Anniversary of Legend's Sports Pub and Grille in Green on Wednesday, October 4.
Just a few short days after, the Funny Stop Comedy Club will be reflecting on the business' run of 20 years as
Northeastern Ohio's premier comedy showplace with their free Customer Appreciation Celebration on Monday, October 9.
Look for more information on both of theses events to be posted in the very near future.
Happy Birthday Maggie
